I'm in the process of converting my KD to KC spec & I'm stuck with a gear diff that won't seal.

Despite using a good quality hex head & making sure the internal gears were seated properly, the hexes in the screws have rounded off! Very annoying. I can't tighten them to seal it up now.

I really don't fancy buying a whole new diff, but I can't see a way of getting the screws out (made of cheese?!).

Did anyone else have this issue?
One of mine did exactly the same when I built my kit from new the other week. If you are careful you should be able to put a line across the damaged heads with a Dremel and then use a flat bladed screwdriver to get them out. I replaced all of mine with new screws which then allowed it to tighten up properly. I bought 10 of these in size M2.5 x 10mm which are exactly the same size and colour as the originals:

Hope this helps
