My son and I have been racing them for weeks now, no issues at all.
I've got a Durango DEX210 and DESC210 so can get the screwdrivers out to see if they fit snug in it if you want. Let me know.

Since on the durango the balls and holes for the hinge ends are very rounded I will see how the thread goes, and maybe take you up on this later. It's certainly cheaper
