As Northy says, the new slipper will slip Frt/Rear independently. One of the outdrive cups on the slipper has a bearing fitted.

You also have the option to lock the front and rear drive cups together and have them slip equally.

Difficult to explain, but once you have it in your hand you'll see how it works.
