They don't charge for receiving at all. That's a common misconception!
They only charge for receiving CALLS, or for sending calls / texts. And the charges for texts aren't THAT bad.
Looking at my bill, my texts from Gran Canaria last week were actually included in my inclusive texts... they cost 4 texts each. Wow, if I'd known...
