If you are just playing about in a park then a second hand b4 or b5 will do you well as they are fairly easy to get parts for, and will still be competitive enough if/when you want to try out racing. I've never had a kyosho, but they may be a bit overkill (expensive) for a play/beginner car. Anything fairly durable with a decent supply of spare parts will do for getting started, just make sure most parts are available from more than one place, you don't want to be waiting a month for one stub arm to come from a bloke in Bolivia that you found on evilbay.
