I think Richard has hit the nail on the head there. Nobody can knock the quality of the J concepts car but the B44s I've had in my hand do feel a little "cheaper". It's hard to pin it down to any one thing but certainly the quality of the carbon plays it's part in that feeling.
Has anybody made B44 parts, to the original design, in a known quality carbon fibre lay up and tried it?
