I agree with Suzukitudor, if I was only buying one car and running on a variety of surfaces I'd go for the B6D and buy the laydown box for £30. If I was only running high grip I'd go for the B6 (which does still work on low grip with a ball diff).
I raced at the MB Models track on EOS carpet the other Sunday. I broke my servo horn on a warm up lap in qualifying so had to throw my dirt car down which was set up for slippy floor. It was only 6 tenths of a second slower on than my B6 on my fastest lap and got me a 5th in round. I expected it to be terrible but apart from it being really soft it was fine.
You can easily give the car more or less steering depending on what you want.
