not wanting to start anything Mark and hi jacking an excellent idea and thread
but as you mention RHR (which is a fantastic venue and were lucky to have access to )
the banked corner is always the banked corner once its fixed you either use it or you miss it out which reduces options once you fix certain obstacles you either run them change direction or miss them out .which is limiting and reduces track availability
for me a new venture/club has to keep its options open until it finds out which is the most economic and sustainable to operate .fixing obstacles may be great to start with but us RC people are fickle with equipment classes we run and venues e like to visit
Mark you have vast experience and knowledge of all most all r/c classes
and still are racing most of them
but for a venue it may have to be Jack of all trades to survive and compete rather than a master of one
MB models new venue is superb hats off to Micheal, ross and all but Michael trump card is his online shop which is excellent but even Michael realises the more classes that can utilize his venue the more it offers
to the original OP the more info and research you do the more likely success is ,very few venues succedd as a busiess venture alone you need a regular club using it as a home venue to make its best use
good luck and if its near to Lincolnshire the better !!!
