Everything else is the same as an 85 car except for slight changes that were made just so that the real RC10 nerds would be able to tell the difference between original and re re versions (L and R on steering parts for example), but the differences are so slight that you won't notice, and they will fit on an old car

Thanks chaps ,that's good too know as I've bought an Original RC10 it's a little rough and needs TLC but it's good to know I can use re release parts if I can't find serviceable original parts
