Not sure what your 'skillz' are like - but I've always preferred mini spikes indoors since they are more forgiving generally. It depends on the track of course but pins will pretty much always be 'faster' - but they can be too agressive, whilst the mini-Spikes are just a bit more progressive and easier to drive. Just thought I'd mention them as I'm one that's usually always driven on mini spikes indoors.

Having said that - I've bought my first set of pins this winter and used them at three big meetings so far (york regional, worksop, supercup) and will use them at worksop this coming weekend too. they are getting a bit past their best but at Worksop they should be fine still.
I only really got the pins since I need to use them as a control tyre at worksop otherwise I'd still be using spikes.
