Having said that - I've bought my first set of pins this winter and used them at three big meetings so far (york regional, worksop, supercup) and will use them at worksop this coming weekend too. they are getting a bit past their best but at Worksop they should be fine still.
I only really got the pins since I need to use them as a control tyre at worksop otherwise I'd still be using spikes.
