The 'gaps' between Edit oils are more linear. As linear as you can get when messing with fluid viscosity.
The Edit oils are measured in cst or 'centistrokes' to give it it's proper name. Associated and many other oils use wt or 'weight' systems. This is entirley upto the manufacturer as to what 35wt is. Losi and Associated 35wt is not the same... it's scary how far apart they are.

Associated now print the cst rating on their new bottles, but they still use the wt method predominantly. So the increase in viscosity between 25wt and 30 is different between 30 and 35wt!!!

Edit oil is more linear allowing a more progressive change in the setup of your car.

Any questions class?....... G... stop smurking and get back to Fisting!
