My twin belt optima mid shows great promise. I tested it last week with 2 packs with rwd only and there was no belt skip. So for sure the belt skipping was caused by the new machined pulley for the long belt. My machinist said i can only get a new pulley end of next week..so i decided to move my new arm design and zx5sp hub to my lazer. I received my new la31 3 weeks ago and this was the one part that kept my lazer out of commision.
So here it is in all its glory.
I also tested my lazer last week and it was also awesome. Other than the rear ball diff slipping and lost one kingpin of the zx5 knuckle..the car drived really good. This modern zx5sp c hub is a much better design. I bet no more lost kingpins..
