I have seen people use the 1251 servo, so assuming the 1252 is similarly sized, it should be possible.

If it is because the ball cup / steering link is rubbing against the casing of the servo, this is also the case with the 1258 (high profile unit). It is very slight, and I solved it with the 1258 by cutting a small chamfered edge on the ball cup where it rubs on the servo.

If it is the power lead coming out of the servo, you could use a dremel to remove some material off the alu mount and the plastic frame and give the servo lead enough room not to be crushed
