I've only run straight front arms up until now, so I'm keen to know what the differences are in handling and also if there are any differences in durability between the std and hard arms.

Hi,

The B5m from kit comes with gull wing arms, b5 (rear motor) from kit comes with flat arms. You need to use the gull wing tower with the gull wing arms, flat tower with flat arms.

Straight arms, I've found these give more neutral handling. Suspension stays consistent through out compression.

Gull wing, these can give a little more steering, shock becomes softer near full compression, due to change in angle (angle of arm). Can give a sudden increase in steering as suspension nears full compression.

Standard vs Hard.

In high traction hard arms should provide a more consistent car. As it will reduce unwanted arm (tower) flex. Down side is arm (tower) is harder and more prone to breaking.
