Bearings on the car would depend on what's fitted and how well protected they are.
But if they have seals on both sides (2RS) rather than steel sheilds, they should go a long time between oiling.
Again, that's dependant on how/where you run them. I usually run them to death then get new ones as they are so cheap. (Complete set for any of my cars is less than 20 quid, most expensive single bearing is only about 40 or 50p).
Opening 2RS bearings up to oil them usually damages the seal too. So it can be a false economy.
