17.5 t is large in uk my club really only runs this class and the brca Clubmans is run because there was no 17.5 at two day brca nationals

There is very big differences in the motors and nearly every company make a stock class motor made slightly different for the mod turn motors

G-forces new red can motor
Budget team wave

And there will always be difference in motors they try to push each new model to be little bit faster. it will always be like this unless u run a hand out esc and motor but then some one will have better batteries servo handset more tyres and this go for any scale any class u run

Ur motor is a cheap version of a reedy sonic one but with normal bearing not the expensive free running ones that are in the reedy so ur motor unless it one of the better ones won't hit the same Kev and rpm as the sonic does
