The theory behind a motor design is the same but some are lighter and have more air flow, all things that help to keep a motor consistent and cool through a run.
Each motor including yours will have a maximum/optimum operating range which could be different from track to track.
Eg I like the Gforce 17.5 motor for small/med indoor blinky TC with 4-4.5 FDR and 40* timing (any less FDR or higher timing just makes heat not performance.) Other makes can go lower FDR and higher timing without compromise, Trinity for example are designing their motors for this application but are premium cost.
