Yeah MDF is great for moulds on a vacumme former. The school I go to uses it for all of their moulds. I have even made a mould for a wing. It turned out very good but the only downside was the plastic sheets my school has to use . I think it is polythene or something like that. All i know is that it is very brittle. I will get a pic up sortly of my mould.
