I used to race in the very early eighties on that very f1 tarmac track at Wath upon Dearne - I seem to recall there was a spares shop in the factory/unit too. I raced a Tamiya Ralt RT2 Hart 420R. I left racing just as the f1 track was being extended to accommodate larger nitro circuit cars. Now living in South East Wales and came back in 2013 to race off-road 1/8th scale: how things have changed in 30+ years I've been away......
Still got the Ralt, though it's now sporting a March 782 bodyshell and the front bumper is missing - I do recall the front end of the car used to take quite a beating
