Me I've been out of RC cars, then back flying helis for the last few years. So what's the big thing in RC racing today? I mean BRCA type sanctioned racing with lots of entries - we used to see 100-120 per race.
I would say 1/10 touring cars is still a very big thing, both the BRCA series (2-day and Clubmans) and the Schumacher BTCC are very well supported with numbers nudging the 100 mark.

In Off-Road I've been out of it for a year or two but I think 1/10 buggies are the biggest BRCA class, both regionally and nationally. 2WD is bigger than 4WD within that class.

1/10th pan car is still alive, indoors on 1S as part of the GT10/12 National series. Both at club and at regionals/nationals, GT12 is now very healthy.
