The car is usable both in 3- and in 4-gear

4-Gear is best suited for low-bite to increae traction, 3-Gear is better on astroturf (it stays flatter through corners, particularly off-power it's more predictable).
PS: I was using 4-gear most of the time, but until I started the instruction manual I had not noticed my ESC was set in 'reverse rotation mode,' which I compensated by putting the motor plate on the other side
