Oh there's no reason why either car is better than the other. I just seem to have a knack of not being able to tighten screws enough at the moment and I can deal with my motor becoming unmeshed but not my whole drive train flying out of the car because i have been a numpty

I forogt to put this on my post but edited it to suit about two seconds later. I am all for a motor not moving in and out as the weight of the motor stays exactly where it was designed to be.
does anybody think though that moving the drive train will affect the handleing of the car?
