I would have thought that the main limitation to this type of battery would be heat (being made of plastic!). if you have two batteries, one at 20C and the other at 25C rating then, assuming similar materials of construction, they would both reach a similar maximum temperature after a full constant discharge at their C rating.
In both cases if the batteries reached the same temperature it would be due to the difference in IR.
You may be correct, DCM, in that if construction is significantly different higher temperatures may be tollerated. Any links for interest?
