Hi bud
i changed one on my dx3s they are the same as the dx3r
you need to buy the whole antenna, je spares do them for £5.50
you have to take your handset apart so the case splits into 2
you have to take the bottom dx3s sticker off as well as there is screw under this
after this its quite an easy job, the plug is glued in place when you open it up and recommend you do the same as you dont want the plug coming out after you have screwed the case back together
