Gut feel can almost never be changed, but I have used Savox for the past year and they've never let me down. I was given a low profile 1251 with stripped gears by someone and I swapped the gears and it has been running in my YZ2 since Jan with no probs.
I'm told "Xpert" are top notch too, but never had to venture that far yet
