If you've got the cash, get a better one. Rather than one you'll be pushing to 10/10ths all the time.
I'm using Speed Passion Reventon Pro, which will do all I want and more.
Boost and Turbo describes how the ESC adds the timing to the motor. You can have fixed (done mechanically by moving the end bell, or electronically by advancing the timing, it's the same amount throughout the rev range) boost increases timing through the rev range, faster the motor goes, the more timing it adds, some ESCs you can put variable or sloped "rules" in place.
Turbo adds the timing after a time delay at wide open throttle, i.e. after 0,2 sec at WOT, start adding 1 degree of timing per second.

There are lots of variables and versions depending on your ESC , so probably best to buy one, read the manual then start asking questions. You're unlikely to buy a bad one, as there aren't many left.
