We would like to make ALL drivers aware of this non-negotiable requirement for this year's Buggy Blitz championship.
Having recently purchased a new racing carpet at significant expense, we want to protect it from damage as far as possible to ensure that it offers high quality racing for several years to come.
Therefore, for all WBMCC indoor events, all off-road cars MUST be fitted with some form of front shock mount protection. This could be, for example, a purpose-designed part, a simple lexan off-cut or even some carpet tape.
Any car without such protection WILL be removed from the grid before the race starts.
Please also check that all screws underneath the car are flush with the chassis.
We are sure that you will all understand that this is an important rule to ensure that we can protect our new racing carpet from damage.
