I have no Hotshot experience or knowledge, but would guess early design Tamiyas would not take kindly to 5.5 turns
So maybe go mild, like 10.5, and if need be, turn the wick down a bit. I'm sure someone more clued up will have better advice though.
I only suggested that as I run a Manta Ray, with a 6.5 in, but turned down to 65% or something.
