John - you are a legend - remind me never to outsource any work to you - no doubt you'd spend bloody ages pondering over it - rather than doing it!
Think it's safe to assume they simply put the motor / transmission as far back as it could go without needing to redesign the transmission housing parts - then get a belt to fit - simple!
Hope this goes well though next week for the guys running it - would be nice to see some of our local Brits in the top 3.
