I would have 3 concerns with astro.

1. The weight of the rolls, when a 3x12m is rolled its bloody heavy !!!!!
2. Would need to be rolled and put away perfectly as any creases wouldn't come out like the carpet does
3. How would we secure the joins, duct tape certainly wouldn't stick it together like the carpet sticks

Astro indoors would be unique and a great surface to race on but in my opinion it would only be suitable for a permanent track venue where track was put out and left out, I think carpet is more suited to our needs

Just my opinion as one of the same 5 or 6 people who actually build the track week in and week out !!!!!!!!!!!
