Looks like you donīt even have to and can just unscrew them, as Jimmy stated and what can be seen on the pics. It would be even way narrower than the 2WD Durango (Prototype). This X-brace at the rear seems to be just fine to mount your electrics upon in that case. Or behind. And then it would be be a one piece chassis par excellence.
Together with the slotted cell tray the CG would be veery low and centralised, could be a rocket on tight high grip tracks.
Slim + fast, would have to be called Slim-Fast then...
