I'm running the hobbywing firmware and used the laptop before (lost the lead) and I quite like using the software it's simple & gives me all the settings. I've ordered one from hobbyking as I ordered a few other bits so postage wasn't as bad
. They should offer a first class royal mail option for small items like that I reckon.
