Thats the old chassis problem which is now fixed.
Serpent is a great car with very few extras needed. Its is one tough buggy at a great price.
There are so many doing extra things to other cars to get more of this or more of that. youll see a lot of that in teh YZ section. minimal in the srx

There should be a sticky..
Go to your club and have a look and feel and a drive if you can. See whats driven mostly there and look at one of those.
There is also a want factor, you don't have to have what everyone else has but it makes tips and spares easier
