Shops don't pay retail. They have a (especially on parts) a reasonable amount of margin. Plus, MB buys Yokomo in Europe. So that makes no sense either. However, the EU importer (Mibo/Yoko.eu) has to pay import duties (and difference for the YEN), so that makes a bit more expensive. The EU retail is lower than MB (in this case, right?) lists his products for. That's not Yokomo's fault. It's MB's fault. They seem to have swapped the € sign with a £, which makes it more expensive.
Other than that, the new upgrades are kinda expensive (and don't make you faster). So blame Yokomo for that.. Or make the parts by yourself. :P
