I'm not sure about the BB springs being used on SB shocks, I use BB shocks and springs on all my cars.
The prop shaft on the TM2v2 is a different length than the TM4. It's shorter as the motor is further back on the TM2 with it being a 2wd.
The main difference between the TM2v1 and TM2v2 is the chassis and rear end. The front is exactly the same on all Team C cars, but the TM2v2 chassi is 10mm shorter than the V1 and it shares exactly the same rear end as the TM4 (shock tower, wishbones, suspension hangers, hubs, wing mounts etc).
Makes sense to do this, especially if you run both the TM2v2 and TM4.
