Strewth,I'm a Mark too,we'll sound like a dog with a lisp,Mark-Mark
Ok mate, that info is just great,I have a B3 manual downloaded and I can
also read and work from engineering drawings,so relating those distances
to what I'm looking at is no problem.
What I'm upto is this:
I have a Mardave Cobra that has a complete B3 front end on it and the gearbox from a Madrat.
The rear mounts are cut from the Cobra's gearbox but had to be shaved
to clear the 'Rat box's bearing housings.
The Cobra has zero anti squat and zero toe-in as standard,so on slippery surfaces it wants
to write it's name in the dust as soon as you put the power down.
I modified the removed Cobra mountings to 3 degrees toe-in which has tamed it no end,
but the problem now is that it's pulling the screws out of them....
The 3-3's and a pair of composite B3 rear arms are to replace the Mardave
bits and should sort out the handling at the back end a lot more.
It'll be Mardave in only ally chassis, battery holders and body before long,
everything else is either Ansmann or Associated.
Thanks for your help mate.
