Hi Guys,

Just bought a gt12 for my son to run. Have never had any 12th scale experiance so its all a bit strange to me.

Questions.

1. Been told to rewire my speedo (toro 1cell) with thinner wire and run it down the center to stop the rear pod tweeking. Which gauge/make wire would people recommend as i've only ever used what comes with the speedo?

2. Spur gear, been told to loose the kit 70 tooth (48dp) and change to a 68 or 66, 32ish pinion (fairly large, smooth, high grip carpet) then wind the timing right up on the motor Vampire 13.5) Never adjusted the motor timing before any advice or things to look out for?

3. Front Track. I've set it up by eyeballing it on the markings on my setup board to approx straight ahead 0". any advice on setting (what to use) and setting as to toe in/out.

Any help would be much appreciate.
