in making the car shorter it will also move the weight back a little. may well be good on a tight lower grip track.... you could modify the rear hubs quite easily to allow the installation of a spacer in front of them, should be able to get a few mm back that way. my 2wd that uses a good few b44 components on the rear end just used the wishbones as normal, but with a hole drilled in the back for the shock
