There may be a small diffrence, but generally not enough that you would notice from new. My 3 shorties are just reaching two years old, and i am starting to notice that the punch on one pack has gone a little soft. But i dont feel the need to go out and buy expensive batteries again. Especially considering how good some of the non-brca approved packs are.

My main criteria is now pack design, colour and brand loyalty. Does that make me shallow? BRCA compliance is also a great idea. especially too avoid getting draw into any circular arguments on the topic
