Glad to hear peoples thoughts on their experiences. I wasn't going to get a spektrum module, since I have an old-school radio with no model memory, and was hoping to open up my options, should I wish to run more than one car.
I was going to go for the Futaba, since their equipment seems pretty good and they have been around for a while. The Spektrum stuff does look a little cheaper, plastics wise. Also they seem very cheap for the DX3.0 DSM3 radio with 2 recievers, 2 servos and the transmitter, for just a little more than the Futaba kit only.
I have also heard bad things about the Spektrum menu's being confusing from more than one person.... I have never used Futaba kit before so have no experience of it.
Thanks guys
Mark
