Favourite on the earlier V1's was a soft layshaft spacer that slowly got shorter over time and use or crushed by overtightening, you can put a spacer/washer between the layshaft bearing and inner slipper pad as a quick fix or buy the new hard aluminium spacer, I chose both. Are you sure it's the slipper not the diff?
