I have been running 4200s, in good nick - so cells not the problem
I put the 2 star back in the XXXT and reduced the pinion - it ran on two packs back to back with no probs - fingers crossed.
Perhaps the ZX5, 4wd unlike the XXXT, was too much for the 2 star?
So .... looks like overheating/overgearing.
Will keep you posted of problems come back.
