I'd go for a 7.5 or 8.0 to start with, it's a common winding for a 2wd. No idea what KV rating mine are, it's all about linear, consistent power deliver in my opinion.

As a guide at the East of England regionals I ran an 8.5 at Ware (Herts), ARC and NBC as they are technical tracks and I used a 6.5 at Boughton and Colchester.

A 6.5 in 2wd is generally over the top in power terms for a 2wd and won't make it easy as you learn the different driving style required from racing your 22-4, as you won't be able to just punch it out of the corners!

What 2wd are you thinking of getting?
