The base material is ASSAB 705 and it has been coated by a process called flash chroming. The ASSAB 705 is supposed to be a harder material than steel but it still wore out at the one way bearing, as witnessed in the second prototype. This version has been flash chromed, hopefully this will solve the wear issues. Only testing will tell.
