Ok verdict time regarding prototype layshaft. Just looking at it shows how good a machinist he is. Fitted for pictures minus e clip and spacers but does go together really well. With vts slipper fitted there is plenty of room and enough clearance for the gear cover to go on without hitting the plastic section of the slipper clutch. Feels right. Now to fit in my gearbox and ready for the testing. Pics to follow tomorrow.
