I'm happier doing it myself. I'd restyle them so they actually fit on modern buggy chassis. Remember these old shells were originally designed for 250mm wheelbase cars with 2" diameter wheels.

I already have through Tamiyaclub members. Still got a couple left, one for my own use and one as a base for an updated longer version for modern buggies if there's the interest, the only modern 4wd it fits is a Hotshot.
BTW the Parma Escort Cosworth should still be available

Can't help on the value of the Manta Ray, I tend to just buy old cars and usually what I can afford might not be what it's worth

Tamiyaclub used to be great for valuing cars, but the older members who tracked ebay prices in a spreadsheet (I kid you not) are no longer there so hard to get a precise value. The problem of valuing something like this is all the mods. As an old racer this car is of more interest to me than a Top Force, but a lot of collectors wouldn't be interested because it isn't a Top Force, even though it has much rarer parts. Of course if two collectors are really interested in something as rare as this the price can go high.
