Why keep a design that is so far from anything else out there? In a bad way. It is a nightmare to wrench. It is far from a smart design. Not a smart move to keep the B44 platform around.

They can design a new car that has all of the B44 properties like geometry and weight balance but in a new package witch is more easy to work on. It will still look like a B44 but with perhaps re-designed diff housings and new beefier materials in wishbones. Adapt it to a modern day racer. I find it hard to believe that you must have a set of tools for each car when running both the B5īs and future B44.
I really do hope they are not lazy.

I mean, the B4 was still a winning car in every way and the B5 kept all of its good properties but in an updated package.
