Advice on Airbrush setup's

Airbrushing Newbie
Been looking at starting this for a long time now, with the price and problem of posting spray cans.
Just bought a compressor from Aldi and was looking at some airbrushes on the cheap end for starters.
What I'm looking for is advice on the setup people are using, the likes of filter/moisture traps is there a certain type required for airbrushing or are they not required.
Is there a easy way of getting the paint out of my existing cans to use with the airbrush or is the paint a different kind.
Basically any advice welcome.
