Agree with the postings so far - the meeting was well run, with Stuart running race control as well as driving. Thanks Stuart.

The track held up well, and it had plenty of plus points - wide and flowing, challenging jumps. Yes it was bumpy, but it is offroad. In the interest of being helpful - one deep rut on the far side of the track opposite the rostrum was a killer for 1/10th; several blind spots for marshals that cost some drivers a lot of time. But I would return - hopefully parking and pitting would have more space available.

General: we really must emphasise at drivers' briefing that qualifying is not racing, and if you are a faster driver you have the right to pass without being impeded. Give the same benefit to other drivers and everyone will qualify in accordance with their ability. I don't think it's a problem in the upper heats, but race control can remind drivers in lower and middle heats during the heat. Usually impeding is not intentional; it's inexperience and/or getting involved in the racing spirit. But it upset some drivers yesterday and we should try to help them if we can.

But all considered, some really good racing on a challenging track.
