rear gearbox
hi, just after a little advise please guys. i have stripped down and starting to rebuild my lazer after racing it over winter.....and i have decided to re built the rear gearbox assy as per manual and was just woundering is this a good idea as i now have about 1mm of float side to side on the layshaft?
when i first built it up last year i added shims to take away most of the float but in the back if my mind i kept thinking the float my be for a reason. it worked fine and belt looks in good condition still. so i would like to know please is how others build the layshaft assembly?
